Ready for a new language, powered by AI? 🌍
Lingrow started from my own frustration with language apps that make you memorize endless word lists that never actually stick, and box you in with limits on how many words you can add yourself. I wanted something built around spaced repetition, add your own words without the limitations I found on other apps, practice them in context, and let the app quietly schedule each review right before you would forget it. It works the same way on a laptop or on a phone, and Portuguese is one of the languages supported from day one.
My role
My own product, from idea to build, I design, build, and ship every part of it myself, the React and TypeScript frontend, the Firebase backend and Cloud Functions, and the spaced repetition scheduling behind it. I am also building out AI powered features, automatic word enrichment with translations and example sentences, and AI generated images, on top of a Paddle billing integration for student and teacher plans.
